    with jackson pups you still need to wire red and white together, wire the braided unsheilded wire and black to ground, and green to hot. switch green and black to change the polarity.

      When I did that it also switched which coil was engaged to the other one and there was hum when the 2 singles were engaged.

      The color code was wrong on the neck pup from the factory.
