best humbucker for Basswood?

I have a RG with a DiMarzio Fred in it and I think you could describe it as a PAF with a bit more balls. Sounds good to me. Very well rounded...

I think basswood is a pretty good match for any humbucker. It just might color the tone of the pickup less than other woods. The SH14 might be good for what you're after. Here's a quote from Duncan:
