    I thought I read Randy mention about a Floyd one time and that he was interested in it. They were around, because Brad Gillis used one (without fine tuners) on tour with Ozzy right after Randy died.

      i think im the only person in the world who would prefer to change strings on a Floyd LOL i changed the strings on my brothers guitar (with a normal trem) and i hated doing it. had to flip the guitar over, put the string through, flip it back over. with a Floyd its all on the front, much easier and much quicker for me.
      ive seen people use the Vintage style trems though, like Yngwie, and keep them in pretty good tune. Yngwie doesnt seem very nice to them either...maybe its the brass nut?

        EVH used one for the first few albums. (Eruption, yea, that's a vintage trem)
