The pickups arent active, the JE1200 was.

ok, i have wired up everything now so i definately dont have any ground loops, everything has an earth point and as far as i can tell ive wired everything correctly. Still a very loud buzz when not touching the guitar! Something has come to my mind though- All the wiring diagrams for the SPC are for ACTIVE emg pickups- Im using the original PASSIVE jackson ones. Could the problem be that in the emg ddiagram the red wire from the battery goes to the 3 ground wires from the pickups to make the emg's active, so if my pickups are not active would it solve the problem if i ground the earth wires from the pickups as normal and dont connect the battery to those grounds? It would mean the battery would only power the circuit on the SPC and not the pickups?
Any idea if this would be the correct setup for passive pups?

I think you've found your problem. You definitely don't want the battery wired to your passive pickups. Ground them normally.
