That is a Charvel Fusion Deluxe, and as I keep saying, they kick ass!

J90C is a cool pickup, very harmonically rich. It is a weak in the bass frequencies though. You can definitely get good 80's hair metal sound out of it. Decent for shred too. I did not find it great for heavy chunking sound though, mostly for the lack of bass I mentioned.

Thats where the J-95 has it in spades.
          Really? well screw Mark Twain.

That's a good idea to A/B it with the 80. Since you have one...

I am pretty good at pinch harmonics. Wish I was better at actually playing the guitar. But I can make it scream...
I agree, since you have both pups at your disposal already...
The Breed is one of my fav DiMarzio pickups actually. It has a hotter PAF sound, but it's also very hot and meaty at the same time. When wired in Split Parallel, it produces some nice 'notch tones'.
            +1 for the DiMarzio EVO2
+1 for the DiMarzio Evolution as well. All 3 are nice pups in my opinion.
I think you'll like the Breed, it is more versatile than it's given credit for.

I think you are a year late to the party. The fat lady has sang, the party is over

I guess you're right, didn't even notice the dates on the threads. I'm a dumbass sometimes.
