    My custom Dinky has a fully flamed maple neck & fretboard. Even more figuring than that puppy, if you can believe it. I've had her for two or three years now, and it's never needed an adjustment. At all. Nothin'. Nada. Then again, it's gloss finished.

    And I've got other non-figured maple necks that need the occassional tweak with seasonal changes.

    Although figuring may have something to do with a neck needing an occassional adjustment, I firmly believe that finished vs. oiled is a much more important factor. ...I'm no manufacturer, though, so admitedly I have no empirical evidence to back this up, though. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
