Please explain how to finish a body in tung oil

      +1 on the Tru Oil. It works well. Just make sure not to put it on too thick. Several thin coats is the best way to go. It has a burnt amber color to it, so it will darken the wood color a little. I would do a test piece first....

          hmmmm..... not sure why it's funny but the body IS ALDER! I made it and I should know It doesn't look anyhting like ash in person
