Re: Kalher Removal & add a Floyd

I'm in a similar situation. I ahve bought a few Floyds and pickups and left them sitting around...never modded it nor bought a replacement body...but I used the parts for other projects. I have gone back and forth on what I want to do that I may just end up selling the whole guitar

Well I know exactly what I like.
It has to be a strat body (Ash or Alder), 22 big fret strathead necks, Original Floyd Rose Trem. Pick up config is not that big of a deal, as long as it has a straight mount Hum in the brige. I also really like the Traditonal strat route with the pickguard, 5 way fender switch, and singles in the middle & neck position. (I played Fenders for years)
I don't really care if it's a Charvel or not.
There are lots of cool parts out there.
I leave the numbers matching collectable stuff to people it matters to.
As long as they play & sound well that's what mattes to me.

nope, it came with a kalher. I'm gonna leave it be.
It needs a new home, because as cool as it is, I won't play it. I HATE KALHERS.
