Carvel maple/maple neck w/ no inlays?

Came in just now... The board is obviously aftermarket, but looks to have been installed right. The frets on the other hand are another story. They were installed, clipped... and thats it. Ends arent filed, frets arent crowned. The headstock is the cap style, not painted... kind of cool to see, as Ive never seen one in person before.

Overall this will make a neat project neck, and great practice for my fretwork!
