    Just make sure it's a guitar of which you're not concerned about resell value. Regarding pickguard holes getting stripped......there are many work arounds......I've been known to dab a little wood glue in the hole with a toothpick, then let it dry. That's usually enough to bite into.

      I had to change the battery in my charvel for the electronics about every 6 months.








      That was until I stopped leaving it plugged in.
