        I've experienced the same thing man, tapping is lots easier on my Nightswan than on my Jackson strat. The strat even has EMG's whilst the Kramer's packing duncans. Both are setup by yours truly. Different axes are just different.

          Any chance it could be the strings? Too high, or too low? I'm using 9's btw so I don't think gauge should be a problem.

              lower action should be louder taps...or as Thoraby said, different guitars are different.
