Why not? Did something go wrong? or do you just not want to do that because it's difficult?

Because you would be running a high risk of partly damaging the threads in the baseplate when unscrewing those suckers. Then, when you screw in your OFR fine tuners.... they might wobble around in the damaged hole/thread. Result: fucked up trem. Here's a pic for you guys to point at and explain... if you need it
