A few questions for EMG users and experts hopefully?

If you don't like the tone, then that's the biggest disadvantage right there.

EMGs are great pickups - low noise, very tight, energy efficient, etc - but I've also retired all of mine for now.

Put my Kelly in the shop two days ago to get 81/85 EMG's , should have it back Saturday, cant wait..

My Sl2 was my first guitar with EMG's. I like the metal tone I can get with it but the set of Duncans in my SL3 are way more versatile.
I'm not sure if I'll go with another set in another guitar but I will keep the ones in my Sl2.
