    I use .10 - .46 for Eb or D tunings and .10 - .52's for drop C. Thicker strings just sound better to me.
    I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

          I've got 10-46 Slinkys on my Gibson V and that is enough.

          usually I prefer 9's, but the 10's make that particular guitar sound so alive.

                Yep, I use 10-52's on my yellow Model 1 Marvin tuned to Eb.

                  I use 10-52 on my 7-string, with a 60 on the low string. The guitar is tuned down a whole step.

                    I used to use them on my 24.75 scale guitars, but I just switched back to plain 10s and I use 9s on my 25.5 scale guitars. All tuned to E.

                        Man, you guys play some thick ass strings I liie 9-42 the best, but I can deal with 9-46 and actually like 8-38 alot. Jack.

                          Before I bought the strings that started this thread, I didn't realize they existed. Now, I like them.
