Yeah I don't much care for routing the neck pocket. I'd route the body for a recessed floyd, and then I'd block it, if he likes it that way.

Lowering a non-recessed bridge to sit on the body effectively blocks the Floyd from pullups anyway. So recessing it, lowering it to there, and then blocking it seems redundant to me.

if Patrick can't drop the Floyd onto the deck at the moment, then a recess for the Floyd isn't going to help in that respect. The neck pocket issue still needs to be addressed

i shimmed the shiatload out of it. Plays 10012309128301297902345780234987 times better than it used too.
