That's why we use it as the "stock" neck pickup in the Jackson USA Select and Charvel USA Standard models.
Yeah, but why do you usually pair it up with the lame JB? The JB has got to be one of the most overrated pups ever, but I guess it's okay if you like all treble and high mids and not much bass.

I like the '59 myself as well..or a humbucker from hell Dimarzio.
I still say the JB is a decent neck pup.

Yeah, I'd rather use the JB as a neck pup than a bridge pup.

I had dual JBs in my old Y2KV. Tonally, it's really not bad as a neck PU. It has a little too much output in the neck position for my tastes, though. Good for 2 hum "chugging", if that's your thing. But not so much for clean glassy tones.

since the JB jr was introduced.
because I was reading about the JB mini hum the other day.. I had assumed the full size JB was also ceramic. SO.. I forgot.. slay me. I was also mixed up on the Duncan Custom for some reason...which, I happen to think that p/u is great..as well as the Dimebucker..so I guess like ceramics too.
