        If the trem is sunk towards you in playing position, then the knife edge is not on the pivot post correctly, or the post is screwed too far down into the insert.

          It depends which end of the trem is sunk. I think he means that the back end is bottoming out in the cavity.

            I would start by adding another spring-and as suggested, tuning it to what you want and adusting the claw for tension. I think there is a Floyd setup sticky tacked up in the tech section. Unless the posts are the old style screw in style and what you are refering to is a list in the screw do to over tension.
