Here's a pic of how the fine tuners on a Kahler 3100 work.

On the far right is the good string claw that surfdork sent me (thanks, bro!). To the left is the broken one that it replaced.

So the string tension on the claw causes the loop to pull on the tab on the fine tuner piece. This levers the fine tuner set screw against a base plate on the other side, thus allowing you to fine tune with the set screw.



To answer Hellwrath's question, it is my understanding that a TOM bridge assumes a tilted neck...at least that's how it works on an LP.

yes there was a fire. He realized there was a 3310 in the area so he dunked his balls in gasoline and lit a match in an attempt the make the pain end. !!!!
