• What to do about a broken tip on a Kelly?

I don't have pictures, but in shipping (due to crappy packing) my PS6T Kelly Body lost about 4" of the upper tip. Now floating around in some UPS dock, or has been swept into the trash.

So, any creative ideas on what to do here? I'd like to fashion a replacement out of steel, but that is beyond my skill. Newc's Halford keeps coming into mind, but I'd like to do something original.

Anyone have a tip for sale? LOL!

do you have a pic? That would be very helpful as it might give us a better idea of what needs to be fixed.

      Out of steel?

I would drive a few framing nails in there, then cut their heads off and sharpen them to points!!

Be glad it's just a PS6T, you really scared me there for a while

Replacement body is easy to find, and probably your best bet

I looked at the body again, and maybe it's not too bad. The break is right where the bevel stops, and is parallel with the neck.

            Paddok, you have a pm.
