Heres anotehr little trick I use for what I call finish crowning.
Take a wooden dowl, and a peice of rubber garden hose.
make it about 3-4 inches.
Make sure the hose and the dowl will fit in smooth but tightly. if a little loose heat it up to contract and fit snuggly.
then use adhesive sand paper around it and work it over the fret baord from nut to butt...
increase the grit on the sand paper till whatever chatter is there is gone and polish.
I also really, really like micro mesh too....
