I love everything about this guitar..the only thing I would love to improve would be to have med jumbo frets (6150), like more of a strat feel, instead of the jumbo that is on there.
Would it be better to get a replacement neck (I am looking at MusiKraft) or replace the frets in the original neck?
My worry about replacing the frets on the original neck is that if the job goes south, the neck could be ruined.
On the other side, there are so many options on the MusiKraft side, that I'm not sure of
Is the neck just maple or quartersawn? I know it's two pieces
nut width
tuner hole size
nut slot style
mounting holes
and most important..back profile to match the current neck...MAYBE a little thinner, but not too much.
Would anybody have any advice? Or be able to match some of the specs I need?
