    The mystery thickens.

Hell yes, I've had the above video (Post #12) on Youtube for less than 24 hours and it's already the top search result when you search for "APC Adder Plus": https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...apc+adder+plus

I know this is resurrecting an ancient thread, but thought I would respond anyway since I wound up here while doing some research on APC pickups. I am the proud owner of the Custom Shop Jackson Dinky referenced in the original post. It has the APC Persuader and Persuader Lead pickups. And yes, it did have a misaligned tremolo when I got it...not sure how that passed their "quality checks". Before purchasing I contacted Jackson (Fender) and they sent me the original build sheet for this guitar. According to the build sheet, the original price was about 3x what I paid on eBay, so it was NOT inexpensive. It appears to be a full-on custom where they specifically requested the APC pickups, unique paint job, body carve, abalone inlays, etc... It is one of the most beautiful, best-sounding and best-playing guitars I own. After resolving the misaligned tremolo and replacing a part on the PIEZO...(yes, that's what the extra knob and switch was for), it plays like a dream. The eBay seller didn't specify the piezo...maybe because it didn't work or maybe they didn't know it was there. Regardless, I got a heckuva deal. The piezo sounds awesome, and the APC pickups are fantastic. The 5-way switch provides some unique tones by splitting the coils on settings 2 and 4. Overall it's simply amazing...crazy good deal on a very unique, beautiful sonic powerhouse. Fit and finish is as one would expect on a CS...absolutely flawless.

Would love to see photos of that guitar, considering the original eBay ad has now lost its photos!

To share pics, choose a free image host (https://www.google.com/search?newwin....0.TEUkkigUiMU), upload your photos there, and copy-paste the generated links here. Personally I prefer https://imgur.com/ as my host but there are plenty of other good ones.

Let me get some pics uploaded somewhere...

As for the pickups, I think I did send an email on one of the websites to try to get more info but never got a response. I also hear that these are passive. I don't know that for sure, but I do know that if I don't have the 9v plugged in, I don't get much volume. Not sure if it's related to the piezo or not, which I'm pretty sure also requires the 9v. There's a lot going on in that wiring cavity.
