    Do guitars float??

    Just wondering They are wood so they should float but has anyone actually tried it??

    They only float in a pool filled with lemon oil.

      Not all wood floats, ebony, for example is more dense than water so it will sink

              well if you use a wah pedal a guitar CAN quack. A duck quacks, therefore a guitar must weigh the same as a duck. It MUST float!

                        I'm not sure about floating, but Mexican made guitars can survive remarkably well in both salt water and desert conditions.

                            I have been busy all day looking for a contractor that will build me a lemon oil swimming pool. I want one. there arent any in the yellow pages under "Swimming" "pool" or "lemon oil"
