Cavity grounding - worth it?

    I just rewired my DKMGTFF and didnt bother putting the cavity grounds back, and it didnt make any noticeable diff to me (axewielder is pretty much dead on how I feel about as thats pretty much what I said in another thread). I did however experiment with running shielded coax cable(guitar input cable) from the o/p jack to the volume pot(I removed my tone pot), it made a big diff to my ears.

      Yeah I've always gotten EMI through the pickups. I can't think that shielding of any sort would prevent that. Maybe I have some shielding tape in my drawer so I can try it out.
