I don't have any sound clips of it, sorry. I do have the SD/S2 combo in my swamp ash Carvin with maple neck/board. I've also used the X2N/S2 combo in my old alder Warrior MG that had a PS4 neck (maple/rosewood).
I also have another X2N/S2 set laying around I think I may put in my all mahogany Hamer Special if I ever get around to it... :ROTF:

Don't knock that OBL pup til you hear one, maybe just in the right situation, but hear one in person first. My old neighbor has one in a SL3 bridge and it sound phenominal. I have one I'm gonna try out (one day).

The neck Invader is a waste of space. I found it was only really good for clean stuff.

I had a set of Invaders (red ones, with black poles, looked nice!) in my old RR3. Loved the bridge pickup for metal rythm, found the neck pickup a total waste of time.
I've been a member of the Duncan forum for a couple of years and I don't think I've EVER seen anyone there recommend the Invader neck pickup.

+1, I love both of those and am looking for more PAFs right now.

I tried a 59 in the bridge, and it was pretty good. Also love the PAF, never tried it in Alder though.

I should probably sign up there and see what they recommend
And the PAF's are bomb diggity. I was planning on putting one in my Schecter. Never heard them in Alder.
