But yeah Ive been thinking alot about this latley. NEWC, all the same scale length.
I guess theres more factors in there... the Soloist is quartersawn neck, the M2 isnt, and we know quartersawn is stiffer. Aside from that, all else is equal including neck relief. Im going to try some lighter springs and see if that gets the feel Im looking for. Now granted, for example, I did a full level/crown/polish on the M2, and the soloist only got a polish. Maybe my fret work is just THAT good?
