Dave Murray, guitarist of Iron Maiden, discusses his vintage Fender Strat guitar. It belonged to Paul Kossoff of Free. He bought it in 1976 1 year after he
pretty sweet. makes sense that fender is offering those since jackson is offering the adrian smith. pretty awesome....the down side is now there ARE guitars i want to buy again!!!! hahahaha, i have been satisified for a couple years now.....GAS has built to the exploding point!!!!
GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
i've been helping people build that strat for years! good to see fender offering it.
ABOUT FUCKING TIME!
i do have some beef with it... it's not a true replica of his 57, because of the floyd.. so why the fuck dont they offer it with 22 frets
and no gers sig.. because that's just a regular strat with the pickups changed.. and his tone sucks.. and despite the fact he's been in maiden longer than adrian has, he hasnt been in the classic memorable era, when heroes were born
You can't play no muthfuggin' arpeggios on a tuba...
I think I know what my next purchase is going to be.....
I have one from the original run and it kicks major ass.
Everytime I take it out to practice, gigs, whatever people say "damn! this thing plays itself!! care to sell it?"
Grea great bass.
As far as I'm concerned he can stay with Dean and play his dots+fins KV copies, and whatever that aborted fetus he "designed". More like "I saw it in my puke". -Newc
