      Yeah, but I heard Dave stripped it, stuffed the neck pickup hole with bondo, peeled the fretboard off and replaced it with a maple board, put a new headstock on it, and then painted the bastard pink...

      ...and it still looks wonderful.

            Congratulations, what a fantasic looking Archtop....worth every penny (or Cent in the States!!).
            I thought that the comment that you had been "ripped off" was a little harsh. Granted, if you had paid more than the retail price but any less, it's a bonus. If it plays half as good as it looks, it's going to be a killer guitar.

                              You have great manual vibrato, and with a guitar that doesn't have a trem, that shows really good technique. I also dig your band's raw edge sound with only one guitar. When you solo it wasn't empty, it didn't "fall apart" like many one guitar bands do. Killer axe too.
