Fenders have the same tension as any Jackson or other guitar with 25.5" scale.

Yep, I think the Strats I've had are easily as slinky-slacky as anything else I've had. Maybe you've got too many springs on the trem.

The rumor I've heard is that they will announce Fender/EVH branded guitars & amps. I don't think there will be a Charvel Wolfie, I think the brand will be "EVH" with the logo like below, with Fender as the parent.



Maybe they'll also announce the Frankie replicas, which are supposedly going to be priced sky-high like the Blackies.
