Well whatever, it's Adrian who spec'd this Signature guitar (theoretically at least), so you'll have to live with his preference for bolt-ons. No matter what your 'dirty secret' is

I forgot to thank you guys for the latest photos of Adrian and his guitars. I saved these puppies on my pc as soon as I saw them!

I just realized that they did't have the front Fender type input jack......... I just figure that since his original one had it, this ones were getting them too.

I love Maiden, and Adrian too, but wasn't his original a dual hum with a single in the mid? And it had all kinds of switching options too, right? Check the "Stranger in a Strange Land" video, that's not the original that Jackson has released unless I'm missing something: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q04bME1GEE By the way, his solo is tasteful and brilliant!

Yes his original one had a HSH configuration... but the one on the SIASL video is nother custom Jackson Strathead that he has... I've allways wanted to know what exacly did all those switches do???

Think there was a synth controller in that guitar, hence the switches - there was a lot of synth on that album and tour, and I seem to remember Adrian doing the synth bits live from the guitar (unless they were triggered or had a keyboard player hidden at the back).

'kin awesome tour, SIT is still my favourite Maiden album and seeing that tour was very special

Yep, guitar synth on the Somewhere In Time album, incorporated into that white Strat.

Does anyone know the specs? The PUs look like Dimarzios, but I'd be interested to know which ones. Also, the one version looks like an ebony f'board, but Adrian's personal one looks like rosewood? And an alder body?

The one recently stolen from Adrian had an Ebony board.

hopefully it has an H-S-H route so we can put a hum in the neck if we choose. he might have thought of that.

I've never understand how those synth sounds work . What I want to know is how do you play, like if it was a piano or do you play normal or what???
