www.beldecal.com has some inkjet printer rub-on transfer paper as well as waterslide decal paper. Print your own decals at home!

I've bought both types from them and they're really great.

Here's a Dinky I used to own with a PC1 neck I put on it. I did the "inlays" using the rub-on transfer paper:

The only problem I ran into was with the printer. The ink, being vegetable based, is easy to wash off the waterslide paper, so I had to coat it with a clearcoat before applying it, but then it doesn't want to work with the water very well.

And that Dragon would kill on that Soloist.

Funny you should mention that, phill....

Another failed experiment, this time on a black Warrior Pro.

The emblems came out great, though. I'll dig around and see if I still have them on my computer. You can print them out on either the rub-on or decal paper (these were decals).

Newc: Do those decals come off? I'd have left that Warrior Pro original or got a pro to do a paintjob on it.

Yes, they rubbed right off, according to Drake (who bought it back from me shortly thereafter).

I was merely playing around with graphic ideas at the time. I did intend to order a Custom Shop with a similar graphic idea. It was basically supposed to be a Blackbird with the pinup wearing adaptive camouflage (like the Predator), and peeling it off in a seductive/pinup manner, but all you'd see around her is a faint ripple effect in the paint, rather than a stark color contrast or outline as on the Warbirds.

I may still order that next year.

                          Slightly old thread bump.

I actually played that guitar over the week of the 4th when visiting family in Oak Ridge and Morristown. IIrc, it had a small crack in the fretboard (not uncommon with ebony) and was significantly more than $799, so I passed. At $799, though, I would've had a very hard time leaving it. Gorgeous guitar, great score. :^D

I wonder what they'll put on my old Fusion. I couldn't play it if I had it (the neck on my current #1 is nearly 1" thick at the nut), but it'd be cool to see it again.
