How do you reduce the sticky finish on..

sticky neck? wtf? none of my soloists have sticky necks. wash up first...then make sure the neck is clean

Sticky necks drive my crazy. Some are stickier than others. Cleaning your hands and/or the neck itself doesn't help matters much when it's a "bad case" IMHO. I wouldn't sand it, I'd either try to get used to it or trade her away.
