My Christmas Present

Christmas came early for me this year. Last Wednesday, I picked up my present for myself.

I traded my Gibson Explorer (plus approximately 350 EURO) for a 2003 Jackson Kelly (Lightning Sky). A decent deal here in Europe, if you ask me. I usually don't like graphics on my guitars, but the lightning sky looks awesome. And it plays like a dream too

It actually feels a bit better balanced than my 22 fret old Kelly.

Lightning sky is one of the few graphics I like too. Good choice, it's beautiful.

Thanks guys! Having played it quite a bit over the last week, I'm really satisfied with the trade. I hope the other guy is happy about it too.

Maybe I should get my Soloist set up by a professional. I'm not quite happy about it and the new Kelly feels much better and both have Floyds.
