trans black KV pics please!

Man, every time I see that, it makes me regret not ordering a custom before the price hike. The only changes I would make to that, is stop tail, and switch the toggle and volume locations. I don't know why, but I prefer a stop tail to string thru.

Normally I don't like trans finishes that much, and I don't like chrome hardware either but I like chrome hardware on trans finishes

I recently got a trans-black RR1T (need to post some pics of that one). I mainly went for the trans-black for the chrome hardware actually, I thought it looked cool. Great looking guitar, but for some reason the pickup rings aren't chrome. I guess they don't have the RR1T rings in chrome or something, they are taller than the ones on the KV2 or the RR1.

Charlz's KV is killer. IMHO, though, that finish is closer in appearance to tobacco sunburst than trans black.

The KV2 pics in NIL's post are the standard trans black on USA Select Jacksons. That's what you should expect to see.

Also, if you're thinking about this for a KV2T (instead of Floyd'd KV2), you should be aware that it won't have a flamed maple top. KV2Ts are all mahogany, instead.

According to this, you can get any color, but jackson's spec sheets also said that guitars with a natural finish come with a MoP headstock logo

No, if anything some TBK Jackson's look grey/brown. I hope the TBK SL2H I ordered doesn't look too nonblack, although in the end it depends on the lighting...

I had never had a string through before. I like it. I made a good choice. Kinda a PITA to get strings through some times...
