  • BGF KV2 pictures (finally)

    Well, finally...

    Full frontal

    Close ups

It's my first REAL Floyd Rose and U.S.A guitar

    Time for the Rear...

^ That allen key holder is quite useful...

I think the neck joint on a KV2 is a beautiful piece of work.

The thing plays like a dream, I couldn't be more please with it, especially for the price. I would never have though that a decent ebony board would make such a difference, it's so smooth, it feels so nice to do bends on.

Floyd is great, it stays in tune properly all the time.

I love the frets as well, tall and very thin, I just prefer them like that, I think when the frets are too wide it kinda makes the guitar look a bit like a toy. The neck also has a great profile definitely a thin D shape, it fells great to have a flatness at the edge of the neck, compared to my LTD where the edge is a bit sharp.

    This guitar kicks major ass!

    Awesome! Very good looking! Congrats!

If I ever get a KV2 it will be either a BGF or Nebula graphic!

Congratulations Dave, it looks like a beauty. The speed neck profile rocks.

Do you still plan to refinish it?!

Very cool! Now you've just got to put the 85 in the bridge and the 81 in the neck.

That, kind sir, is one seriously kickass instrument.

...is it me or the controls layout seems a bit different from a regular kv2?

Congrats, that's a beauty! I love the BGF on those and it has EMGs, which should come standard on these IMO. We have different views on the frets though - the tall, skinny frets are probably the one thing keeping me from getting a KV2. Because I like the rest of the features better than RRs - speed neck, 24 frets, no pickgaurd, equal wings, and V/V/T controls.

Very nice. That's probably my favorite graphic for KVs. ...And I'm not much of a fan of graphics on KVs at all.

Now that it's in my hands, and the finish is in better condition than I though it was, it seems a shame to get rid it- it would also mean that I wouldn't be able to play it for a while.

                        But I don't know...

Thanks for the kind words guys

I'm not usually a fan of ghost flames, but that looks pretty cool.
