  • Did they make the 10 string RR PCS?

I know Spitz had one but I never seen one in Ebay ever or heard of anyone owning one
I would love to order one it would make an awesome LTD run now but with the CS price increase I would not be able to afford it.

So anyone own one or have any info like production numbers?

Diego owns one. I believe that three were made.

Toru and I enquired about getting one made 6 months or so ago, but we were told 'no' because of the artist replica bullshit.....

Does the "artist replica" crap apply even if you want a different finish or apppointments ? If so, that really IS some bullshit !
I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.

What is the benifit for having a 10stringer?

Never played one, so who knows? The theory was a more full sound on the 'thin' strings...

for some 10 string action, check out Aerosmith in the 70s. Joe Perry rocked a 10-string Mockingbird.

Imagine a 12 string (without the 6th and 5th octave strings), because that's what they sound like.

No he doesn't. Robert did used to own a 10 string, but it wasn't Spitz's guitar. He also used to own 2 ex-spitz trans-black solid maple dinky Rhoads, but Jani now has one and I have the other.

It was a 10 string Bitch, I think he took off the extra strings though. The picture on the back of the Bootleg album shows the guitar with only 6 strings I believe.

The correct name is: BICH (no "t"). Perry also had a replica built of that red Bich by HHI recently. He still has the original too.

Mustaine played a 10-string Bich as well (minus the octaves).

Mustaine installed a string lock/schaller 456, so it could never really be used as a 10 string anyway.

Hi all, I was wondering what PCS stood for. Production custom shop I'm guessing. Thanks.
