  • Listen Up Maggotts! (Large Pics Inside)

United States Marine Corps Matix Camo Serial Number J7000 reporting as ordered.

The guitar was a has some pretty cool things about it. It has a non-standard logo which is rare. Mike Kotzen told me they are not allowed to do that but the painter didn't it and painted the logo to look like a name patch. There is stitching around the name.

It was also painted at a BASF facility by Matt Meehan. If I have the story right BASF had been asking him to use some new paints for a while. This was the first project with it. The finish on it is matte as well. It is not glossy by any means. If it was it may have ruined the entire look of the guitar. It was also a 2006 Winter NAMM showpiece.

The body resonates very well and plays great. Fullers tech, I know I'll spell his name wrong so I won't try, did a quick adjustment to it for me but it was setup very well. The fret work is very nice. It plays wonderfully and sounds great.

    On to the pics.

              very nice!

What's this about no non-standard logos? What about the old JJs, Roswells, etc? Is this part of a push to reinforce the corporate identity?

Good way to accessorize your uniform. Now all it needs is one in formal military dress to match.

Cool detail on the stitching for the logo!

I hadn't noticed that at NAMM!
