  • I need Your Help!!

Hi to everybody! I'm new in this forum.

    I bought a Jackson Guitar (2nd hand).
The seller told me that is a KV2 model.
Can You confirm it to me??

    the serial no. is DM051

    Thanks!!!!

    That looks very nice indeed.

I'm no expert on the facts and figures, but the DM serial means it's not a standard KV2 (that would start with a U0 or U1). I did initially think it could have been a Players' Choice Series guitar, but those had 22 frets. Otherwise it looks a lot like a PCS to me, and though I thought the Players' Choice serials all started PCS, that doesn't appear to be the case according to Jani's Mustaine site:

There was a limited series of Megadeth guitars made for Musician's Friend so it may be one of those, but I thought they had gold hardware.

        Welcome to the board!

That's a good question... the DM0xx serial no. would indicate a PCS model, but it has 24 frets.

Whatever it is, it looks really nice and seems to be in great condition, and there's no doubt about the quality of this MIA Jackson.

Congrats on the deal! Nice photos too.

I thought the Musician Friend's limited edition -which aren't true KV1 production models, MF's KVs have Floyd and production KV1s come with Kahler- started wiht KVMF-xxxx serial?

              anyway, great guitar for sure.
