  • #2471 arrives in Georgia - Pics

This is my first U.S.A Jackson. Red with maple board. The neck is thick and beefy. Probably due to the thick slab of maple used for the board. San Dimas plated #2471. Serial number suggests Ontario built between 87 - 89. Heavy as all hell, my scale is busted so I can't weigh it. Now I've got GAS for another, possibly Charvel. Sorry for the crappy pics, it's an overcast day in Atlanta.

                Awesome looking strat! Congrats!
The maple necks look so good on Jacksons. And You were lucky to get a beefy neck from that period.

Looking good, Alvin. I am digging the color the most with the maple board.

                            Awesome guitar!

I have a SD charvel H-H- floyd maple maple that has been with me for over twenty years.

                            Enjoy that baby!
