  • have a question regarding scott ian jj model

i'm considering purchasing a jj korina.
the seller said that it is made in the usa, but the headstock does not say jackson usa or cutom shop. i email the seller and he said the following:

"the serial number is 02 67 jj and if you go to the jackson web page under resources then serial numbers you can find it out there"

so what's the deal with this? any help would be appreciated. thanks!!!

I know this question was asked not too long ago, and the consensus is that some USA JJs don't have the "Made in USA" on the headstock.

Solid birdseye korina? Umm... can you say "def-uh-net-lee" custom shop?

              0267 JJ means 1997 production

1996-1997 JJ's had NO "USA" on a headstock and most of them had b/w logo
              Because I don't say it
              Doesn't mean I ain't thinking it
