Fully bound bolt on necks?

How common is it for a 1988 Jackson strat to have a fully bound 22 fret bolt on reverse headstock neck? I have never seen another neck like this one.
Just curious?

Yep, that one is very similar to mine. Mine is salmon colored and it has dots instead of sharks. The OFR is top mounted. Its a VERY cool guitar.

The pickups that are in it are a DP151 (Dimarzio PAF Pro) and 2 Jackson J100's.

hell yes. I can't stand guitars without binding,..it just doesn't feel the same as a jackson

I played it at a gig on Saturday night. Its a great guitar. Really great. Holy crap is the PAF Pro a hot pickup. Its hotter actually then I remember one to be in the past. The neck on this guitar is absolutely killer.
I am extremely happy with it. I am definately going to switch out the neck J100 for a Dimarzio HS3 along with going from all white to all black pickups.

Exactly how rare would the reverse headstock with a bound neck/headstock be? Is is posible to get information from the records of the 80's Custom-Shop? Like who built the guitar? Who bought the guitar? Cost? etc etc etc?
