RA 197?

In the tremolo cavity on my '87 SL1 there is a handwritten number "RA 197", underneath the springs. Anyone know what this refers to? Just curious.

An RA # usually means it was repaired at some point.

That would make sense- I had mine sent back to the factory in '90 for a neck repair. Thanks for the input!
