Thanks to Brett for hooking me up with this one! This is a early '86 Soloist Student in Purple. Just when my brother thought I was fruity having the pinks, now I throw this in the mix. Atleast it will be festive for easter!
Okay, here is my opinion of the guitar. The action is typical Jackson "How low can ya go?". This guitar is really dark. Not bassy, just dark. No sparkle acoustically. This one sounds best chugging power chords rather than screaming out a solo (I am sure it could do that as well, just not as well as most of my other Soloists). The Kahler has the beefier springs and arm making it feel more like a Floyd.
