The neck probably feels wider because the edges are rounded and not sloped. I had #84 and felt the same way about the neck. Once I got rid of it, I realised the sides of the neck were not sloped like other necks, but more like a fat neck that had its center flattened.
The Archtop Collen Pro I had was the same way.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
