hell i´m just realizing it now:
holmes zebra rhoads is RR0849
my zebra student i got from john lately is RR0810
must have been "zebra time" these weeks at the custom shop
and they´re so great
i really need onother kahlered SD rhoads soon

Andy - actually RR0849 was white with black bevels and later refinished by Dan Lawrence for the Electric Circus tour. At the same time Mike Shannon thinned the neck profile, replaced one wing and also shortened the other. I will be uploading docs about the refin job later this month.

I really like Andy's RR0810. I think it's one of the coolest graphics I've seen on early RRs.

you semm to have doc about everything, great
now you´re telling it i remember the history of this axe, i think you posted it when you ordered your white "i´m a animal" one

to the paint sheme
imho its not what i imagine to be a zebra but its way cool and rare
very similar to tracys 1984 charvel strat (btw the only other i saw in this zebra sheme style)
look at the gallery, the red one
i really believe this graphic was made by the same person in the same mood, maybe even the same batch, but since i got no WO or anything written in mine i can´t prove this (unless FMIC opens the books again)
they match perfectly
