    I did NOT know the Speedloader was a drop-in replacement. Thanks Sambencuda & RacerX! Now I just have to figure out which guitar to use as my Guinea pig!

    metaljunkie - you are correct. BC Rich's backing away is not a good sign.

    I have no problem with ordering strings. I do it already with my regular strings.

      I am not averse to this idea at all, although I am not sure if they use the same speedloaders that are on the bc rich guitars. Maybe this means absolutely nothing, but the metal that makes up the baseplate of the trem seems to be pretty thin and of poor quality...maybe its just appearances, but the OFRs and even the schaller FRs seem to be made with better metal...

        I noticed they have a fixed bridge. Why is it so big and bulky? I'd be tempted to try a fixed bridge if it wasn't so massive.
