New Jackson question

Actually an old Jackson question but new to me. I recently picked this up,

It's my first Jackson. My question is, what is the deal with the signed/#'d headstock?

On some of the limited edition runs, Grover Jackson signed and numbered each guitar. I might be wrong, but that *looks* like an old Guitar Center anniversary model, although I thought those were usually marked as such on the truss rod cover or neckplate.

I'm sure someone else can give you more specific info, but that is a nice looking guitar!
