• My PC1 ...bought from ECON

I bought this Root Beer PC1 last month off of ECON (Ervin), and am just now getting around to posting pics...sorry so late!
Ervin, thanks again, I love it!

Brian:

I'm glad you like it. Did you leave it with the 9's or did you set it up back to 10's?

Man, that's sweet!!! Mmmmmm, that makes me thirsty for a PC1 in either rootbeer or mocha! Do you find it hard to navigate the fretboard without inlays?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Before I bought my first PC3, I thought it would be hard to find my way. But, it is pretty easy. Here is a test for y'all. Look down at your neck while you are playing and see which markers you are looking at. I bet most of you will say the top side markers on the fretboard, which the PC1 still has.

I've always wondered - dont' these inlay-less fretboards at least have normal dot markers on the top of the neck?

Cool. Actually, you're right. Now that I think about it, I do seem to look more at the side dots anyway, but sometimes I do look at the fretboard. I guess it probably won't be so bad.

The PC1 is my favorite player.
I especially like the fatter/rounder neck.
The sustainer in this guitar is more stable than the "Fernandes Revolver Pro" or Jackson DK2S with Sustainiac (I own all three aforementioned guitars).
I must confess that the "Sustainiac sustainer" found in the DK2S has a cool "mix mode" that sounds more like real amp feedback.
Sometimes, I think about buying an SL1 and installing a "Sustainiac" to have (IMO) the ultimate sustainer guitar.
Nonetheless, all Jacksons rule. I love Jackson Guitars.

Peace,
Mike D.

Oh Yeah, I forgot to mention this:
Did you know that the sustainer in the PC1
is a "Floyd Rose Sustainer"???

Very nice Guitar. It's always nice to expand the list of PC1 club people. As for the fret markers on the side; I got used to it very quickly and while those watching you play might go, "Damn, how does he do it?", you'll find your eyes drawn more to the side than the top anyhow. It's a great neck but it took some getting used to as my Model 5 has a much thinner profile.

Welcome to the club!!!
