    Re: USA Telecasters

The USA Jackson Tele style guitars were uncommon. In the early days they made them in both neck through and bolt on designs. Here's my 1987 "Teleoist" which is a neck through design:

In the late 80's the Charvel import Tele was released, I've heard it referred to as the Model 7 but I've not seen official literature to support that. In the early 90's there was another Charvel Tele import made, the Legend, I believe. In the mid 90's there was a Jackson Pro version, the JTX. Today the body design is only available through the Custom Shop.

USA Telecasters & JTX Pro Model

Very interested in hearing about/seeing anything out there regaring the very cool, often misunderstood Jackson USA telecaster- otherwise affectionately known as the "telly."

Also quite intrigued by the discontinued JTX pro...even though this was a Japanese model, I am wondering if they ever did any USA custom shop versions here or there?
