See now for some strange reason it feels lighter than my Soloist. Maybe cause the weight is distributed differently cause of the body shape?

Yeah Diablo, I'm very pleased that Newc decided to give up that kelly for your dragon .....well, that sweet maple neck w/ the ebony fins anyway. I haven't heard from him. I know he told me his father was in the hospital, and I believe he posted here that his dad had bypass surgery. I hope he's doing well. The last thing he needs right now is me busting his chops with e-mails going" Hey where's my Dragon, man!". He is, after all, a member of the JCF in good standing, and therefore an honorable man and outstanding human being. I'm sure I'll get the guitar when he gets the time to send it.

Congrats! I got one about 2 months ago in trans blackly it is not a MF signature but it is a Ke1 in trans black. Saweeeeet!

the mf signatures only came in black with gold hardware didn't they...that's all i've ever seen them in...did you manage to score a trans black with a floyd and 1 hum...man that'd be killer...d.m.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I remember seeing the Musician's Friend KE1 models in the catalogs a few years back. They had Floyds, gold hardware. I remember some other models with black Floyds, can't remember if they were MF models or not. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] Maybe it's just the version you have with black I'm thinking of and they were never Marty signature models. Very nice guitars either way! page 11 of the 1997 catalog is the only mention i've found of it...my scanner's dead bvut it can be seen on jacksonmueum.com...no pic just a mention in the bottom right hand corner of the page...d.m.

Yeah DM - Mine is a KE1 in Trans Blk with a floyd... Black hardware. Made in usa on HS next to Jackson.... I think it is a 96. No MF signature on it. I have seen MF signature on Trans Black and white before too.
